Join us for the next in our series of handcrafted box-making workshops. Drop spine boxes are highly customizable and can store books, paper, objects, or other flat items.
Each student will be provided with pre-cut supplies and will create their own drop spine box covered in bookcloth and decorative papers. The techniques learned are directly transferable to other sizes and materials for students to apply to future projects.
This workshop is led by our colleague Melissa Wagner-Lawler and will be tailored to all skill levels--however, experience with gluing small details and fine cutting is recommended: this class will move at a reasonably fast pace. All professional grade materials are included in this class's cost and the experience is held in our bindery's community makerspace.
