Whether you love Valentine's Day (or love to hate it), come join us in our collective love for print!
In this workshop, we'll be printing up two different pre-designed cards (call them "valentines" or call them "nice tokens of love for someone you care about any ol' day!") Each student will experience two of the unique printing processes we do in-house: Risography and letterpress! Everyone will see Risograph printing in action, then learn how to use our Vandercook SP-15 to letterpress print an overlay and complete these cards for themselves!
Students leave with a better understanding of these two nifty print processes, plus:
- A set of 4 Riso-letterpressed cards (2 of each version)
- 4 matching envelopes
- Big-big love for old school printmaking!
This experience is run by The Bindery and BEARBEAR in partnership, and guided by their two fearless leaders, Zach Lifton (Managing Director of The Bindery) and Diana Chu (Co-Owner of BEARBEAR).
