We're back for the always-amazing Bay View Gallery Night! This time, rather than featuring a single artists, we're welcoming the public to our space to contribute to our own collaborative community project (come make art with us: more below)! Plus we'll have a zine/print/art swap table set up for anyone who'd like to bring something to share: leave some art, take some art. (Honor system only: suggested value of $10 or less.)
This season we'll be compiling a digital collaborative zine made by our guests! We'll provide paper and supplies: you make a page to contribute based on a theme. We'll then scan and compile all the pages into one fun digital document to share with one another. Pages can be written, drawn, collaged, or any combination at all: no zine or art background necessary. This activity will be held in our community makerspace--like what you see? Join as a member!
Lastly, at 7:00 pm, stop by for a facility tour with our owner to learn about The Bindery's historic equipment and how we use it today to make modern books and prints for our clients. Tour space is limited: first come first serve.
