We're back for the always-amazing Bay View Gallery Night! We showcase a wonderful book/print artist--or two!--and welcome the public to our space for an open house and evening tour. FREE: pop in all evening until 8pm.
For this year, we're hosting On Paper, an exhibit featuring Milwaukee-based artists Robert Trettin and Nomka Enkhee. Both artists investigate the playful act of “further noticing” through a humanistic lens. Each work on paper invites the viewer on an adventure of joy, wonder, or on a journey of introspection. Trettin and Enkee’s practices separately engage disparate media and approaches—from photography reproduced on handmade paper to metal sculpture and coloring books—juxtaposed within Milwaukee’s sole traditional book bindery. This is the first time both artists’ works will be displayed in tandem.

At 7:00 pm, Bindery owner Zachary Lifton will do a brief facility tour to showcase some of our work and historic equipment. (Tour and demo space is limited: first come first serve--please look for signage along our glass wall which indicates where the tour begins.)
