Curious about letterpress? Love Milwaukee Zine Fest? Swing by at ANY POINT of this open house to help print our annual letterpress poster for MZF. We'll have historic wood and metal type on our Vandercook press, plus a new linocut block by local artist and printmaker, Hunter Louis.
This is a great chance to try your hand at letterpress, learn how the equipment works, check out The Bindery, and get inky with us while giving the fest a hand! (Posters stay with us so we can put them up around town but we'll have our baby press set up to print yourself a takeaway zine fest bookmark while you're here as a special thanks!)
This is FREE with no need for a ticket, but it's great if you can register to just let us know to expect you at some point. Otherwise just wander on in any time between noon and 4pm. See you then!
