Join us for a paper marbling adventure! This class is suitable for total beginners who want to learn the basics of the craft and set-up. We'll then experiment and explore with color, style and technique: results will vary from person to person and sheet to sheet in this fun, casual evening.
Each student will learn about marbling set-up including appropriate bath preparation, paper choice, and ink selection (all provided). We'll then use several bold paper colors and a variety of pigments to explore--with each student preparing and using their own bath for personalized results! Students can expect to make a collection of 8 to 10 sheets of beautiful hand-marbled paper ready to be used in their next great project.

Paper will be wet at the end of this class. Students may either take it home to dry or leave it at The Bindery for staff to dry and professionally flatten. Dry sheets can be picked up during regular business hours.
