ABOUT ABOUT

Have a trinket you want to protect? A special gift to encase? Join us to learn how to make a 4" x 6" x 2" flip-top box using traditional book arts techniques and materials.

In this workshop led by Melissa Wagner-Lawler, participants will make their own archival box with prepared materials, plus learn foundational skills to make future boxes of any size on their own through proper measuring and construction techniques.  Flip-top boxes can easily translate into other box types, so this is a great workshop for beginners!  No book arts skills required!

Interested in something a bit more advanced? Check out Melissa's drop spine box course later this summer.

All professional-grade materials are included in workshop pricing including a variety of decorative paper and colorful bookcloth options. Just bring your curiosity and eagerness to learn!
